Coach: Jenny Beveridge
Give us a little background on who you are and where you're from?
Hi, Im Jen, originally from NZ I have now lived half my life here on the beautiful Gold Coast. My passion is to help empower people to access the tools they already have to live their vision for their best life. From a fitness and health I was a high powered anaerobic 'Sport Aerobics' athlete that did a complete flip and became an endurance runner and triathlete. This has given me the experience to be able to coach many different sports and people given the huge difference in the two disciplines. My specialty is mindset and I love learning about what makes each of us completely unique.
How long have you been a coach for and what got you into the health & fitness industry?
I have been coaching for over 20 years, from sport aerobics, personal training, business and to now life/health coaching.
The health and fitness industry was I would say part of who I am, I have always felt being active gave me so much energy and then following that path learning other ways in the health realm that allow us to thrive and give each day our best.
What did you do before you were a Coach?
Since I was 15yrs old I have been a coach of some sort. But during this time I also managed a reception team at a health club, managed a dance studio for 10yrs. I looked after compliance for Certificate programs. And did accounts work. My passion is helping people so Im always up for learning a new skill if it can aid in advancing someone I care for.
If you could only do one exercise for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
Running because all you need is a pair of shoes and it allows you to explore.
What was the latest thing you've learnt in your area of expertise? Or currently learning?
I am learning more about biology of belief.
When you're not at the gym/with clients/working - what do you like to do to relax and unwind?
I love to read and learn, I believe in being curious. And I am definitely a social creature I love spending time with my friends.
Who is someone you really admire in the health and fitness industry and why?
So many people. Anyone that lives their truth in what they teach and is open to learning new things and share them with the world.
I also admire the Charity 'bravehearts' their mission is to make Australia the safest place for kids - but to do that created one of their biggest fundraisers 777 - 7marathons 7days 7states. Running with such a greater reason changed me.

I believe we all need a bit of Goggins in us for resilience and drive but also need to understand the stillness and acceptance that Eckhart Tolle provides. So taking some from each but not all from one.
Who is your typical client and how do you benefit their life?
People that are ready to look inside themselves and live their vision for a fantastic life. I provide a space and tools where they are able to see how they can do this for the long term.
What do you see most people struggle with when it comes to their health and fitness?
Un-helpful patterns or beliefs that they are either not aware of or don't know how to shift that may be holding them back.
Whats the best piece of advice to help with this?
Whatever the reason or challenge that is at present preventing you from making the change you want. Look at how this is serving you, as it has to be or you would change. Once you see that it's much easier to take that next step.
